Architect of the Milton™ brand and a lifelong advocate for Indian craftsmanship since 1998. I believe in manufacturing components that aren't just durable, but are a tribute to our nation's industrial heart.
Our story is not written in ink, but in the sweat of a father’s hard work and the unwavering heartbeat of a true patriot. It all began during the Partition of 1947. The father of our founder, Mr. Kishan Lal Dhingra, arrived in India with nothing but the clothes on his back and an iron will. He was a man who lost his home but never his dignity. He taught us a vital lesson: while a person can be displaced, their spirit is a territory that can never be conquered.
In 1982, Mr. Kishan Lal Dhingra set out to honor that legacy. He didn't just want to start a business; he wanted to build a tribute to the land that gave his family a second chance. Long before it was a popular slogan, "Make in India" was his soul’s mission.
He refused the easy path of importing goods from across the globe. Instead, he chose the harder road—the one that involved local hands, local sweat, and a deep-seated love for our own craftsmanship. He wanted every product to be a small piece of our nation’s pride.
In those early days, we were the silent partners to every tailor and household. We started by trading in a full range of garment accessories—from the zips that held things together to the buttons that finished a person's best clothes. This was our era of learning, of exploring every corner of the trade and understanding the pulse of the market.
By 1998, after sixteen years of solid experience, we were ready for a giant leap. We moved from trading to self-manufacturing, driven by the goal to make everything right here on our own soil. We gave our dream a name that would soon become a benchmark for quality: Milton™.
Milton™ became a symbol of trust. We focused our manufacturing on the "bones" of the garment industry—specializing in precision parts that require an artisan’s touch:
The Foundation: High-tensile blouse hooks and pant hooks (2/3/4 Pin) built to last.
The Heartbeat: Robust Bobbin Cases and sewing machine motor belts that keep the wheels of industry spinning.
For us, "Make in India" isn't a corporate strategy; it’s our service to the nation. Every time a tailor uses a Milton™ bobbin case or a factory fastens a Milton™ hook, they are touching the result of decades of local empowerment.
We stayed here. We invested here. We believed in the power of our own people when the world looked elsewhere. We have spent over forty years contributing to our nation's fabric, ensuring that the legacy of a father who arrived with nothing continues to support the dreams of millions.
At Milton™, we don't just manufacture hardware.
We manufacture hope, one stitch at a time.
